Leading the Patna Chapter of DWAR Foundation has been an inspiring and transformative experience. Care for Deprived Children
Our Volunteer "Amrita" is providing a Helping Hand to Children with Madhubani Painting
Preserves tradition: Madhubani is an ancient art form from Bihar, and teaching it helps keep the tradition alive.
Earn while you learn: Participants can earn by creating products (paintings, sarees, bookmarks, home decor) for sale locally or online.
Requires minimal investment in materials (handmade paper, natural colors, brushes).
Can be taught in low-resource settings — perfect for rural and semi-urban communities.
Trainees can build their own micro-businesses by selling their artwork.
Promotes self-reliance and reduces dependency on local employment constraints.
Suitable for all age groups — especially women, youth, and school students.
